Justice Vasant Bhadang, a retired Judge of the Bombay High Court, has been appoibted as the President of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. The decision was formalized through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, the 18th of October 2023. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted approval for Justice Vasant Bhadang to assume the role of President of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.
