Punjab: 18 IAS officers shifted

The Punjab government on Saturday (14.10.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 18 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Vivek Pratap Singh (IAS:1996:PB), Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training.
2. Ajoy Kumar Sinha (IAS:1996:PB), Principal Secretary, Finance with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, has been relieved of the charge of Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development.
3. V K Meena (IAS:1997:PB), Principal Secretary, Printing & Stationery, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Social Justice Empowerment & Minorities with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Printing & Stationery.
4. Ajoy Sharma (IAS:1999:PB), Secretary, Local Government, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Secretary, Health and Family Welfare with additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Local Government.
5. Kamal Kishore Yadav (IAS:2003:PB), Secretary, School Education, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Secretary, School Education with additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education and Languages.
6. Arun Sekhri (IAS:2004:PB), Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur.
7. Daljit Singh Mangat (IAS:2005:PB), Commissioner Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala.
8. Ritu Aggarwal (IAS:2005:PB), Secretary, Cooperation, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Punjab State Information Commission.
9. Manjit Singh Brar (IAS:2007:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Commissioner, Faridkot Division, Faridkot.
10. Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda (IAS:2007:PB), Secretary, Techincal Education & Industrial Training with additional charge of the posts of Director, Technical Education & Industrial Training, Administrative Secretary, Investment Promotion and CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been transferred and posted as Director Industries and Commerce with additional charges of Administrative Secretary, Investment Promotion and CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
11. Varinder Kumar Sharma (IAS:2009:PB), Special Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice with additional charges of the posts Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission, Nodal Officer, Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign (Department of Home) and Director, Tourism and Culture Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Punjab Health System Corporation with additional charge of the posts of Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission.
12. Ghanshyam Thori (IAS:2010:PB), Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar.
13. Puneet Goyal (IAS:2010:PB), Special Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice with additional charges of Controller, Printing & Stationery and Director, Industries and Commerce has been transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs.
14. Shena Aggarwal (IAS:2012:PB), Special Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development, has been transferred and posted as Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development with additional charge of Special Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development.
15. Harpreet Singh Sudan (IAS:2013:PB), Director, Sports & Youth Affairs, has been given additional charge of the posts of Director, Technical Education & Industrial Training and Controller, Printing & Stationery.
16. Amrit Singh (IAS:2014:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Higher Education with additional charge of the posts of Director, Employment Generation and Training and Secretary, LOKPAL.
17. Neeru Katyal Gupta (IAS:2016:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Tourism and Cultural Affairs.
18. Kamal Kumar Garg (IAS:2017:PB), Additional Secretary, Housing & Urban Development with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Science, Technology and Environment, has been given additional charge of Managing Director, MILKFED.
