Consequent upon relieve of Govekar Mayur Ratilal (IAS:2014:TR) from his position as District Magistrate & Collector in Gomati District, Udaipur, for central deputation, the Tripura government has implemented an interim arrangement. During this interim period, Saju Vaheed A (IAS:2015:TR), who currently serves as the District Magistrate & Collector in South Tripura District, Belonia, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of District Magistrate & Collector for Gomati District, Udaipur. This arrangement will remain in place until the arrival of Tarit Kanti Chakma (IAS:2017:TR), who has been posted as the new District Magistrate & Collector for Gomati District, Udaipur.
