Shweta Kumar selected for appointment as Director, MoEF&CC

Shweta Kumar (IES:2008), recommended for central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs, has been chosen for the position of Director in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in Delhi, with a tenure lasting five years. As per an official order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday, dated October 7, 2023, the central government has given its approval for Ms. Kumar’s appointment to this post. Her appointment falls under the central staffing scheme and is effective for a period of five years from the date she assumes charge of the position, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
