Rajasthan: 6 SPs among 20 IPS officers shifted

The Rajasthan government on Monday (02.10.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 20 IPS officers, resulting in changes in the Superintendents of Police (SPs) for six districts, four of which are newly created districts. Additionally, eight officers who were recently promoted to the IPS rank have also been posted.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Priti Chandra (IPS:2008:RJ), DIG, Home Guard, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Armed Battalion, Jaipur.
2. Om Prakash-II (IPS:2008:RJ), DIG, Security, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, SDRF, Jaipur.
3. Raj Kumar Gupta (IPS:2011:RJ), SP, Kekri, has been transferred and posted as SP, Security, Jaipur.
4. Alok Srivastava (IPS:2011:RJ), SP, Shahpura, has been transferred and posted as SP, SOG, Jaipur.
5. Pooja Awana (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Dudu, has been transferred and posted as SP, GRP, Jaipur.
6. Adarsh Sidhu (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Bhilwara, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 12 Battalion, RAC, New Delhi.
7. Devendra Kumar Bishnoi (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Gangapur City, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jhunjhunu.
8. Shyam Singh (IPS), SP, Jhunjhunu, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhilwara.
9. Narayan Togas (IPS), SP, SOG, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation, Jaipur.
10. Manish Tripathi (IPS), SP, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kekri.
11. Krihna Chand (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as SP, Shahpura.
12. Lakshman Das (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as SP, Cyber Crime, Jaipur.
13. Rajesh Kumar Yadav (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as SP, Gangapur City.
14. Hanuman Prasad Meena (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as DCP (Traffic), Police Commissionerate, Jaipur.
15. Rajesh Kumar Kanwat (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as DCP, Crime, Police Commissionerate, Jaipur.
16. Narendra Singh Meena (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as SP, Dudu.
17. Ramesh Maurya (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as DCP (Hqrs), Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur.
18. Rajendra Kumar Meena (IPS), on promotion to IPS cadre, has been posted as DCP, Crime, Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur.
19. Sushil Kumar (IPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Commandant, 5th Battalion, RAC, Jaipur.
20. Sujit Shankar (IPS:2020:RJ), Assistant SP, Bhiwadi, Khairthal-Tijara, has been transferred and posted as Assistant SP, Chomu (Jaipur Rural).
