Punjab: 15 IAS officers shifted, Kumar Rahul posted as Secretary, Jails

Addressing a long-awaited administrative overhaul, the Punjab Government took action on Wednesday by transferring 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

The names of the IPS officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Kumar Rahul (IAS:2000:PB), Secretary of General Administration and Coordination, Personnel, and Vigilance, has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Jails.
2. Kamal Kishore Yadav (IAS:2003:PB), Taxation Commissioner with additional charge of CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, School Education with additional charge of CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
3. Arshdeep Singh Thind (IAS:2004:PB), Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare with additional charge of Secretary Horticulture, has been transferred and posted as Taxation Commissioner.
4. Shruti Singh (IAS:2004:PB), Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation with additional charge of Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Personnel with additional charge of posts of Secretary, Vigilance, Secretary, General Administration & Coordination and Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
5. Ravi Bhagat (IAS:2006:PB), Special Principal Secretary, Chief Minister with additional charge of posts of Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board and Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), has been transferred and posted as Special Principal Secretary, Chief Minister with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board, and Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Sources.
6. Sandeep Hans (IAS:2010:PB), Special Secretary, General Administration & Coordination with the additional charge of posts Special Secretary, Printing & Stationery and Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Personnel with the additional charge of Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
7. Girish Dayalan (IAS:2011:PB), MD, MARKFED with additional charge of CEO, Punjab State e-Governance Society, has been transferred and posted as MD, MARKFED with the additional charge of posts of CEO, Punjab State e-Governance Society, and Special Secretary/Director, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances.
8. Sanyam Aggarwal (IAS:2012:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Malerkotla, has been transferred and posted as Joint Managing Director-cum-CEO, Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company.
9. Rishi Pal Singh (IAS:2014:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Mansa, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
10. Paramvir Singh (IAS:2015:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Khanna, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Mansa.
11. Palavi (IAS:2015:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Bathinda, has been transferred posted as Deputy Commissioner, Malerkotla.
12. Rahul (IAS:2017:PB), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.
13. Viraj Shyamkarn Tidke (IAS:2018:PB), Additional Commissioner, Taxation-1, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), SAS Nagar.
14. Chandrayjoti Singh (IAS:2020:PB), SDM, Sultanpur Lodhi, has been transferred and posted as SDM, SAS Nagar.
15. Ojasvi (IAS:2020:PB), SDM, Dasuya with additional charge of SDM, Tanda, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Vigilance and Coordination.
