Three Judges appointed to Himachal Pradesh HC

The Union government on Friday (28.04.2023) notified the appointment of two Advocates and one Judicial Officer as Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

The names of the two Advocates are :

1. Ranjan Sharma
2. Bipin Chander Negi

The name of the Judicial Officer is:

1. Rakesh Kainthla

The Supreme Court collegium on July 12, 2023, approved the proposal to elevate two Advocates and one Judicial Officer as Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court and sent the recommendations to the President.
