Gujarat: 70 IPS/SPS officers shifted, Shamsher Singh posted as DGP of Law & Order

The Gujarat government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders for 70 IPS/SPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Dr. Shamsher Singh (IPS:1991:GJ), Commissioner of Police, Vadodara City, has been transferred and posted as Director General of Police, Law & Order, Gandhinagar.
2. Gyanender Singh Malik (IPS:1993:GJ), Additional Director General of Police is posted as Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City,
3. Dr. Neeraj Gotru (IPS:1993:GJ), Director, Civil Defence and Commandant General, Home Guards, Ahmedabad is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police (Training), Gandhinagar
4. R.B.Brahmbhatt (IPS:1995:GJ), Additional Director General of Police, CID (Crime & Railways), Gandhinagar is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, CID (Intelligence), Gandhinagar.
5. Narasimha N Komar (IPS:1996:GJ), Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Administration, Gandhinagar with additional charges of Additional Director General of Police, Inquiry, Gandhinagar and Additional Director General of Police, Armed Unit, Gandhinagar.
6. Dr. S Pandia Rajkumar (IPS:1996:GJ), Additional Director General of Police, Railways, Ahmedabad, has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, CID (Crime & Railways), Gandhinagar.
7. Anupam Singh Gahlaut (IPS:1997:GJ), Additional Director General of Police, CID (Intelligence), Gandhinagar, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Vadodara City.
8. Piyush Purusottamdas Patel (IPS:1998:GJ), Additional Director General of Police ADGP, Surat range, Surat, has been transferred and kept on waiting for further posting.
