UP: Five IAS officers shifted, Ashish Goyal posted as CMD, UPPCL

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday (27.07.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers. Ashish Goyal, who recently returned to the state after a stint at the centre, has been named the new CMD of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL).

1. Kalpana Awasthi (IAS:1990:UP), Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education, has been transferred and posted as DG, UPAM.
2. Narendra Bhooshan (IAS:1992:UP), Principal Secretary, Principal Secretary, Infrastructure & Industries Development Deptt., has been put on waiting.
3. Ashish Goyal (IAS:1995:UP), who has been waiting posting orders after returning from central deputation, has been posted as CMD, UPPCL.
4. M Devraj (IAS:1996:UP), CMD, UPPCL has been transferred and made Principal Secretary, Technical Education.
5. Anil Sagar (IAS:1998:UP), Principal Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development Deptt, has been given the additional charge of IT and Electronics.
