Tamil Nadu: Four IPS officers shifted, A Arun is new ADGP, Law & Order

The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (27.06.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for four IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. S Davidson Devasirvatham (IPS:1995:TN), ADGP, Intelligence, Chennai, has been given additional charge of ADGP, Headquarters, Chennai.
2. A Arun (IPS:1998:TN), ADGP/ Commissioner of Police, Avadi Police Commissionerate, Avadi, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Law & Order, Chennai.
3. K Shankar (IPS:1996:TN), ADGP, Law & Order, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP/Commissioner of Police, Avadi Police Commissionerate, Avadi.
4. Dr. K A Senthil Velan (IPS:2004:TN), IGP, Intelligence, Chennai, will hold full additional charge of ADGP, Intelligence, Chennai.
