The Odisha government on Thursday (18.05.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 18 IPS officers including 5 SPs of Districts.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- AM Prasad (IPS:1989:OR), who has just returned from central deputation, has been posted as the Special DGP of Human Rights Protection Cell (HRPC).
- Sudhansu Sarangi (IPS:1990:OR), Special DGP, Railways, and Coastal Security, has been transferred as DG of Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards.
- RK Sharma (IPS:1995:OR), ADGP, Law & Order, has been transferred and posted as Additional DGP Headquarters.
- Sanjay Kumar (IPS:1997:OR), ADGP, Modernisation, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Law & Order, and ADGP, Communication.
- Amitabh Thakur (IPS:1998:OR), ADGP, Operations, has been transferred as Transport Commissioner.
- Suresh Dev Datta Singh (IPS:1998:OR), ADGP, Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Operations.
- Dayal Gangwar (IPS:1998:OR), who returned from central deputation, has been posted as ADGP, Railways, and Coastal Security.
- Rajesh Kumar (IPS:1998:OR), ADGP, SFSL, has been transferred and posted as ADGP Modernisation.
- Narasingha Bhola (IPS:2002:OR), IGP, Central Range at Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Excise Commissioner.
- Ashish Singh (IPS:2004:OR), Excise Commissioner, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Central Range at Cuttack, and IGP SFSL.
- Rajesh Pandit (IPS:2007:OR), DIGP, South-Western Range, Koraput, has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Fire Services & Home Guards.
- Akhileswar Singh (IPS:2009:OR), DIGP, SAP, has been transferred and posted as DIGP, SIW.
- CS Meena (IPS:2009:OR), DIGP, Fire Services & Home Guards, has been transferred as DIGP, South West Range, Koraput.
- Mitrabhanu Mahapatra (IPS:2010:OR), SP, Keonjhar, has been shifted to Rourkela as SP.
- B Gangadhar (IPS:2011:OR), SP, Sambalpur, has been transferred to Mayurbhanj as SP.
- Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo (IPS:2013:OR), SP, Rourkela, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sambalpur.
- Kusalkar Nitin Dagdu (IPS:2015:OR), SP, Bolangir, has been transferred as SP, Keonjhar.
- KR Dnyandeo (IPS:2015:OR), SP, Mayurbhanj, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bolangir.
