The tenure of Sushma Taishete (CSS), Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy has been extended till May 31, 2024. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel on Thursday (18.05.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Atomic Energy to extend the deputation tenure of Ms. Taishete to the post beyond 05.07.2023 till her superannuation i.e. upto 31.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
