J&K: 10 IAS officers including 8 Deputy Commissioners transferred

The Jammu & Kashmir government on Thursday (27.04.2023) effected major bureaucratic reshuffle and ordered the transfer of 10 IAS officers including 8 Deputy Commissioners.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary (IAS:2015:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
2. Sachin Kumar Vaishy (IAS:2015:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur.
3. Choudhary Mohammad Yasin (IAS:2015:AGMUT), Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch.
4. Rakesh Minhas (IAS:2016:AGMUT), Managing Director, DIDCO, holding charge of Managing Director, SICOP, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua.
5. Basharat Qayoom (IAS:2016:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama.
6. Minga Sherpa (IAS:2017:AGMUT), Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, has been transferred and
   posted as Additional Secretary, in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat with additional charge of Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation.
7. Sayeed Fakhrudin Hamid (IAS:2017:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.
8. Faz Lul Haseeb (IAS:2018:AGMUT), Director, Tourism, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian.
9. Mr. Abhishek Sharma (IAS:2018:CG), Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba.
10. Akshay Labroo (IAS:2018:TR), Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat with additional charge of Director, Information, Jammu and Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
11. Raja Yaqoob Farooq (IRS-IT:2014), Additional Secretary, Power Development Department with additional charge of Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir.
