UP: Six IAS officers shifted, Atal Rai posted as Spl Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday (04.04.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for six IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Shiv Sahay Awasthi (IAS:2011:UP), Special Secretary, Sugarcane and Sugar Industries, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.
2. Atal Kumar Rai (IAS:2010:UP), Additional Commissioner, Industries, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies.
3. Ram Yagya Misra (IAS:2010:UP), MD, UP Small Industries Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Medical Education.
4. Rakesh Kumar Mishra (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Excise.
5. Gaurav Verma (IAS:2014:UP), Special Secretary, Forest, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, State Tax.
6. Amarnath Upadhyay (IAS:2010:UP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Special Secretary, Culture.
