UP: Eight IPS officers shifted, Piyush Mordia posted as ADG, Lucknow Zone

The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday (11.03.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for eight senior IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Piyush Mordia (IPS:1998:UP), Additional Director General (ADG)/Joint CP (JCP), Law & Order of Lucknow Commissionerate, has been transferred and posted as ADG of Lucknow Zone.
2. Upendra Kumar Agarwal (IPS:2005:UP), IG/DIG of Devipatan range, has been made Joint CP, Law & Order of Lucknow Commissionerate.
3. Amarendra Kumar (IPS:2008:UP), DIG of Ayodhya Range, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Devipatan Range.
4. Praveen Kumar (IPS:2001:UP), IG, Meerut Range, has been transferred and posted as IG, Ayodhya range.
5. Nachiketa Jha (IPS:2003:UP), IG, Agra Range, has been transferred and posted as IG, Meerut Range.
6. Deepak Kumar (IPS:2005:UP), IG/DIG of Aligarh, has been transferred and posted as IG, Agra Range.
7. Suresh Rao A Kulkarni (IPS:2008:UP), Additional CP, Kanpur Commissinerate has been transferred and posted as DIG, Aligarh Range.
8. Amit Verma (IAS:2008:UP), DIG, SIT, HQ, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Additional CP, Kanpur Commissionerate.
