Jharkhand: 8 IPS officers shifted, Anurag Gupta posted as DG, CID

The Jharkhand government on Saturday (04.03.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Anil Palta (IPS:1990:JH), DG, Rail has been transferred and posted as DG, Homeguard, and Fire Service.
2. Anurag Gupta (IPS:1990:JH), DG, Training has been transferred and posted as DG, CID.
3. Prashant Singh (IPS:1992:JH), Additional DG, Jharkhand Armed Police has been transferred and posted as CMD, Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited.
4. Manoj Kaushik (IPS:2001:JH), IG, HQ, with additional charge of IG, Provision and IG, Special Branch.
5. Pankaj Kamboj (IPS:2005:JH), IG, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as IG, ACB with additional charge of IG, Ranchi.
6. Anup Birthare (IPS:2007:JH), DIG, STF with additional charge of DIG, Special Branch, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Ranchi.
7. Harish Bin Zaman (IPS:2017:JH), Assistant SP (HQ), Giridih, has been transferred and posted as SP (Traffic), Ranchi.
8. Shubhanshu Jain (IPS:2019:JH), Assistant SP (City), Jamshedpur, has been transferred and posted as SP (City), Ranchi.
