The central deputation tenure of Subhas Chandra Lal Das (IAS:1992:AGMUT) as Director General of Hydrocarbons, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (02.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Lal for a period of 2 years beyond 25.03.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He was appointed on the post in 2019.
