The deputation tenure of Dr. R Gopinath (IFS:2009:AGMUT) as Deputy Secretary in AIIMS, New Delhi has been extended for a further period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (17.02.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend deputation tenure of Mr. Gopinath for a period of one year beyond 05.03.2023 and up to 04.03.2024 (i.e. a total tenure of 6 years outside the cadre at a stretch) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
