Assam: Four IPS officers shifted

The Assam government on Thursday (16.02.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for four IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Barun Purkayastha (IPS:2015:AM), SP, Hojai is transferred and posted as SP (Law), Vigilance & Anti- Corruption, Srimantapur, Guwahati.
2. Padmanabh Baruah (IPS:2016:AM), SP, Karimganj is transferred and posted as DCP (West), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati.
3. Saurabh Gupta (IPS:2018:AM), Addl. SP (HQ), Nalbari has been transferred and posted as SP, Hojai.
4. Partha Protim Das (IPS:2018:AM), Addl. SP, Karimganj has been transferred and posted as SP, Karimganj.
