The Assam government on Sunday (05.09.2021) issued transfer and posting orders of 07 IAS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Paban kumar Borthakur (IAS:1989:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Departments and Chairman, Assam Administrative Tribunal has also been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare Department.
- Siddharth Singh (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare Department.
- Rakesh Agarwala (IAS-Non-SCS:2009), Commissioner of Taxes and Commissioner of Excise has been assigned additional charge of Managing Director, Assam Tea Corporation.
- Pabitra Ram Khaund (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Irrigation Department.
- Umamanda Doley (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Welfare of Bodoland Department.
- Adil Khan (IAS:2011:AM), Commissioner, Transport, State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society & MD, AIDC has been given additional charge of MD, Assam Skill Development Mission.
- Sadnek Singh (IAS:2014:AM), Joint Secretary, Transport Department.
