The Government of India has approved the temporary exclusion of 200 posts in the grade of Section Officer from the Central Secretariat Service for 13 weeks with the effect from June 28, 2021.
The posts will be designated as Assistant Secretary to enable the appointment of officers of Indian Administrative Services (IAS) of the 2019 batch in the Central Secretariat.
