Jaijeet Singh (IPS:1990:MH) has been transferred and posted as new state anti-terrorism squad (ATS) chief. He will replace Deven Bharti (IPS:1994:MH) who has been transferred as additional director general of police in the state security corporation. Bharti had been waiting his new assignment for a month after being transferred from the post of ATS chief. Bharti had been asked to continue with his charge as the ATS chief till his new assignment was notified.
