Himachal Pradesh : Eight IAS officers get additional charge of various posts

The Himachal Pradesh government on Saturday handed over additional charges of various posts to eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect due to home quarantine and isolation period of some officers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

1. Sanjay Gupta (IAS:1988:HP), ACS, Forests will be holding dual charge as Additional Chief Secretary, printing and stationery, animal husbandry and fisheries
2. Manoj Kumar (IAS:1988:HP), ACS, home, Vigilance and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs will hold additional charge of ACS, Industries.
3. Prabodh Saxena (IAS:1990:HP), ACS, MPP, Power and NCES will hold additional charge of chairman, Himachal State Electricity Board, Shimla.
4. Onkar Chand Sharma (IAS:1994:HP), Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Tribal Development will hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag and Horticulture.
5. Ajay Kumar Sharma (IAS:2003:HP), Secretary, Ayurveda and YSS will also be Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment.
6. Manasi Sahay Thakur (IAS:2009:HP), MD, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation will also hold additional charge of Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
7. Debasweta Banik (IAS:2013:HP), MD, HPMC will hold additional charge of Director, Horticulture and Special Secretary, Forest and Industries.
8. Neeraj Kumar (IAS-SCS:2013:HP) : MD, HP Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation will also be Special Secretary, Industries.

1. Ram Subhag Singh (IAS:1987:HP), ACS, MPP, Power and NCES and Chairman, HP State Electricity Board Ltd.
2. Nisha Singh (IAS:1987:HP), ACS, Social Justice and Empowerment, Printing and Stationery, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
3. Amitabh Avasthi (IAS:2004:HP), Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag and Horticulture and Director, Horticulture.
4. Abid Hussain Sadiq (IAS:2014:HP), Special Secretary, Industries and Director, Food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs.
