06 IAS officers transferred in Punjab

The Punjab government, on Tuesday, issued transfer and posting orders of six IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Amarpal Singh (IAS:2008:PB) : State Transport Commissioner.
  2. Mohinder Pal (IAS:2008:PB) : Special Secretary, Home Affairs, Justice & Jail and in addition Secretary, State Election Commission.
  3. Rambir (IAS:2009:PB) : Services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs for posting as Managing Director, PUNSUP.
  4. Gurpreet Singh Khaira (IAS:2009:PB) : Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot with additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot
  5. Karnesh Sharma (IAS:2010:PB) : Additional Secretary, Water Resources.
  6. Bhupinder Pal Singh (IAS:2011:PB) : Director, Local Government.
