Sixty four Maharashtra policemen, including 12 officers, have been found COVID-19 positive. Of these, Mumbai alone counts for 34 cases. On Tuesday a lady constable posted at ‘Varsha’, the official residence of the Chief Minister had tested positive for corona.
‘Varsha’ in South Mumbai is not occupied as CM Udhav Thackeray stays with his family in Bandra suburb.
A male constable, posted at the official residence of former CM Devendra Phadnavis, also tested positive for corona.
Both these constables have been hospitalised for treatment.
