The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Saturday approved the empanelment of 46 Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officers for the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax). Unfortunately, one of the officers (Niranjan Kouli) on the promotion list had expired in May 2021 whereas Romita Arora took VRS in March 2021.
