Thirty-four senior officers have been made nodal officers to assist states and supervise the implementation of Prime Minister Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi scheme. All these officers are of Joint Secretary level.
Under the scheme, vendors can avail a working capital of up to Rs 10,000, repayable in monthly instalments in one year. On timely/early repayment of the loan, an interest subsidy @7% per annum will be credited to the bank accounts of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer on six-monthly basis.
According to a Personnel Ministry order “The nodal officers will be responsible for supervising the implementation of the scheme and also assist states in resolving issues that may arise”.
As per Personnel Ministry order, the names of all officers and the state allotted to them are as follows :
- Niranjan Kumar Singh : Gujarat
- M C Jauhari : North-East
- Neerja Sekhar : Haryana ,
- Hukum Singh Meena : Bihar
- Rajat Kumar Mishra & Tanmay Kumar : Rajasthan
- Rajesh Kumar Sinha : Kerala
- Kamran Rizvi, Leena Johri, Amit Kumar Ghosh & Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma : Uttar Pradesh.
- Amit Agrawal : Chhattisgarh.
- Rakesh Kumar Verma & Alaknanda Dayal : Punjab
- G Jayalakshmi : Telangana
