26 IPS officers promoted and transferred in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday announced the promotion and transfer of 26 IPS officials in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal : Promoted as ADGP and posted as ADGP, Police Operations, Chennai.
2. G Venkataraman : Promoted as ADGP and posted as ADGP, Cyber Crime Wing, Chennai.
3. Vinit Dev Wankhede : Promoted as ADGP and posted as ADGP, State Crime Records Bureau, Chennai.
4. Karan Sinha : DGP, Training, Chennai.
5. Senthil Kumar : Promoted as IGP and posted as IGP/ Commissioner of Police, Salem.
6. K. Shankar : IGP, CB CID, Chennai.
7. C. Sridhar : IGP, Modernisation, Chennai.
8. Prem Anand Singh : Promoted as IGP and posted as IGP/ Addl. Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, South, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
9. V. Vanitha : Promoted as IGP and posted as IGP, Railways, Chennai.
