188 IPS probationers pass out from SVPNPA in Hyderabad

Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy celebrated the passing out parade of IPS probationers belonging to the 76 RR batch. Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, congratulated the probationers and praised the job police is doing to protect the citizens of this country and maintain law and order.

A total of 188 IPS probationers and 19 officers from countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Mauritius passed out during the Dikshant Parade. A large number of these probationers come from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. There are 58 women officers in this batch.

According to sources, the probationers were imparted training in almost all kinds of threats the country is facing today; from internal security to cyber-crimes and from drug trafficking to financial frauds and new-age threats in form of artificial intelligence.

These probationers will now be posted in districts for practical training in tackling challenges of varied nature.
