17 IPS officers among 20 empanelled for Joint Secretary roles

The Modi government, on the evening of Saturday (30.12.2023), approved the empanelment of twenty officers for holding the position of Joint Secretary or JS equivalent in the Government of India. Of the twenty officers, seventeen are from the Indian Police Service (IPS), indicating a strategic move by the government.
