The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday approved the empanelment of fifteen officers belonging to Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) for holding HAG rank posts in the Government
of India.

The promotion of P Vijaya Kumar has been kept in the sealed cover and until a decision is taken on Vijaya Kumar the promotion of one junior most officer on the panel would be considered on ‘ad-hoc’ basis.
Further, among the recommended ones Mrs Binita Mitra and Ms P Reetika were denied promotion to HAG.
