The Punjab government on Thursday transferred 15 IAS officers with immediate effect.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Kalpana Mittal Baruah (IAS:1985:PB) : ACS, Technical Education and Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, with additional charge of Cooperation Department.
- Vini Mahajan (IAS:1987:PB) : ACS, Investment Promotion, Industries & Commerce and Information Technology with additional charge of Governance Reforms and Public Grievances.
- Ravneet Kaur (IAS:1988:PB) : ACS, Housing and Urban Development.
- Roshan Sunkaria (IAS:1988:PB) : ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wildlife.
- VK Janjua (IAS:1989:PB) : Principal Secretary, labour Department.
- Kirpa Shankar Saroj (IAS:1989:PB) : Principal Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities.
- R Venkat Ratnam (IAS:1990:PB) : Principal Secretary, Jail.
- Seema Jain (IAS:1991:PB) : Financial Commissioner, Rural Development and Panchayat.
- Anurag Verma (IAS:1993:PB) : Principal Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training, with additional charge of Higher Education and Languages.
- Alok Shekhar (IAS:1994:PB) : Principal Secretary, GAD & Coordination.
- K.A.P Sinha (IAS:1992:PB) : Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer affairs, with additional charge of General Administration Department (GAD).
- Rahul Bhandari (IAS:1997:PB) : Secretary, NRI affairs, Home Affairs and Justice.
- Veerendra Kumar Meena (IAS:1997:PB) : Secretary, Printing and Stationery, with additional charge of Freedom Fighters Department.
