The West Bengal government, on Monday, issued transfer and posting orders of 14 IAS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
1. Alapan Bandyopadhyay (IAS:1987:WB) : Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Hill Affairs Department.
Additional charge : ACS, MSME and Textiles Department, Industry, Commerce and Enterprises Department and Parliamentary Affairs Department.
2. Ajit Ranjan Bardhan (IAS:1989:WB) : Commissioner, Jalpaiguri Division.
Additional charge : Principal Secretary, North Bengal Development.
3. Barun Kumar Ray (IAS:1992:WB) : Commissioner, Malda Division.
4. P.B. Salim (IAS:2001:WB) : Secretary, Youth Service & Sports Department.
Additional Charge : Secretary, Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education Department.
5. Chhoten Dhendup Lama (IAS:1999:WB) : Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department.
Additional charge : Secretary, Tribal Development.
6. Dr. P. Ulaganathan (IAS:2006:WB) : District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas.
7. Mukta Arya (IAS:2008:WB) : District Magistrate, Howrah.
8. Uma Sankar S (IAS:2011:WB) : District Magistrate, Bankura.
9. V. Lalithalakshmi (IAS:2008:WB) : District Magistrate, Kalimpong.
