The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on Tuesday (July 29, 2025) issued a transfer and posting order for 13 Indian Information Service (IIS) Group ‘A’ officers.
The list of transferred officers is as follows:
- Anupama Bhatnagar, currently serving as DG, PIB, New Delhi (working as Vice Chancellor, IIMC, New Delhi), has been posted as DG, PIB, New Delhi.
- Pragya Paliwal Gaur, presently DG (News), NSD:AIR, New Delhi, has been transferred as DG (M&C), PIB, Guwahati with additional charge of Vice Chancellor (erstwhile DG), IIMC, New Delhi till the appointment of a regular VC, IIMC.
- RK Jain, ADG, DPD, New Delhi, has been posted as ADG (News), NSD:AIR, New Delhi along with the charge of DG (News), NSD:AIR, New Delhi.
- Abhishek Dayal, ADG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi with additional charge of PIB, Patna, has been relieved of the charge of PIB, Patna.
- Gaurav Khare, previously under order of posting to Director (News), NSD:AIR, New Delhi, has now been posted as Director, CBC, New Delhi.
- Amit Kumar, Director, Doordarshan HQ, New Delhi (against vacant SAG level post in DD News, New Delhi), has been transferred as Director (M&C), PIB, New Delhi.
- Suresh Kumar Gedela, who was on one-month tenure end leave from July 15, 2025 after repatriation from deputation to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, has now been posted as Director (M&C), PIB, Vijayawada.
- Deshmukh Nikhil Shivajirao, Deputy Director, CBC, RO, Pune with additional charge of PIB, Pune, has been posted as Deputy Director (M&C), PIB, New Delhi.
- Gagandeep Kaur, Deputy Director, DPR (Def.), Jalandhar with additional charge of DPR Defence Chandigarh and Yojana, Punjabi, has been posted as Deputy Director (News), DDK, Jalandhar with continued additional charges.
- Godbole Sangeeta, Deputy Director (News), DDK, Mumbai, has been transferred as Deputy Director (News), RNU:AIR, Mumbai.
- Madhav Bhaurao Jayabhaye, Assistant Director (News), RNU, AIR, Pune with additional charge of CBC, FO, Nanded (against JTS post of DPD, Pune), has been transferred as Assistant Director (News), RNU: AIR, Pune with additional charge of CBC, Pune and also PIB, Pune till the training of Harshal Rajendra Akude at IIMC, New Delhi concludes.
- Nikita Joshi, Assistant Director, PIB, Mumbai, has been transferred as Assistant Director (News), DDK, Mumbai.
- Shailesh Phaye, Assistant Director, CBC, Raipur (on strength of CBC, New Delhi as SGB and awaiting posting after promotion), has been posted as Assistant Director, DPR (Def.), Chandigarh.
