11 IRS officers transferred; 9 given additional charges

The central government on Friday (29.11.2024) announced significant transfer and posting orders for senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers in the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax/Director of Income Tax. A total of 11 officers have been transferred, while nine have been assigned additional charges.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Govind Singhal has been promoted as CIT (Appeals), Unit-16, Delhi.
2. Abhay Kumar Thakur, CIT (OSD), Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-5, Ahmedabad.
3. Amitabh Kumar Sinha, CIT (Appeals) Unit-18, Delhi, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Ranchi.
4. Prakhar Vipalava Gupta, CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Agra, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Bilaspur.
5. Gargi Sharma Goel, CIT (OSD), Delhi, has been transferred and poted as CIT (OSD), CBDT, Delhi.
6. Ashis Chandra Mohanty, CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Karnal, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Cuttack.
7. Amit Jain, ADG (Expenditure Budget), CBDT, Delhi, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-18.
8. Anima Barnwal, CIT (OSD), Delhi, has been transferred and posted as CIT (DRP-1), Delhi-3.
9. Ashish K Heliwal, CIT (OSD), Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as CIT (DRP-2), Mumbai-2.
10. Jadhav Shukracharya Krupacharya, CIT (OSD), Delhi, has been transferred and posted as CIT (DRX (ITAT)-4.
11. N G Joseph Gangte, CIT (DR) (ITAT)-4, Delhi, has been transferred and posted as CIT (Appeals) Unit-31, Delhi.

Following additional charge arrangement in the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax/ Director of Income Tax.

1. Jeevan Lal Lavidiya has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-7, Hyderabad.
2. M Narmada has been given additional charge as CIT (DR) (ITAT)-2, Hyderabad.
3. Anima Barnwal has been given additional charge as CIT (DRP-2), Delhi-3.
4. Abhay Kumar Thakur has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-10, Ahmedabad.
5. R N Siddappaji has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1 Belgaum.
6. R Ilavarasi has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-5, Bengaluru.
7. Sri Nandini Das has been given additional charge as CIT (DR) (ITAT)-1 Bengaluru.
8. Rajat Kumar Kureel has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Karnal.
9. Arun Kumar Yadav has been given additional charge as CIT (Appeals) Unit-1, Agra.
