The Assam government, on Monday, issued transfer and posting orders of four IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- P. Shakil Ahammed (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Labour Welfare and Tea Tribes Welfare Departments is released and his services are placed at the disposal of Meghalaya for his posting in the State of Meghalaya.
- Dr. J.B. Ekka (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development, Transformation & Development and Parliamentary Affairs Departments with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Labour Welfare and Tea Tribes Welfare Department.
- Nitin Kumar Shivdas Kahade (IAS:2004:AM) : Commissioner, Barak Valley Division and Development Commissoiner, Hill Areas with additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary to Govt. of Assam, Finance Department.
- Gaurav Bothara (IAS:2004:AM) : Commissioner, Central Assam Division with additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary to Govt. of Assam, Handloom, Textiles & Sericulture and Welfare of Minorities Development Departments.
