The Narendra Modi government, on Sunday, effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Secretary and Additional Secretary level.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
1. Braj Raj Sharma (IAS:1984:JK) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs. Presently, he is posted as Special Secretary, Department of Border Management.
2. Roulkhumlien Buhril (IAS:1984:TN) has been appointed as OSD, Department of Land Resources, Minsitry of Rural Development. The officer will take over as Secretary, Department of Land Resources w.e.f April 1, 2019 upon superannuation of Anant Kumar Singh (IAS:1984:UP) on March 31, 2019. Presently, he is Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs.
3. Sanjeev Ranjan (IAS:1985:TR) has been appointed as OSD, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on superannuation of Yudhvir Singh Malik (IAS:1983:HY) on March 31, 2019. Presently, he is Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
4. Rabindra Panwar (IAS:1985:BH) has been appointed as OSD, Ministry of Women and Child Development. He will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development on superannuation of Rakesh Srivastava (IAS:1981:RJ) on 31, March, 2019. He is presently Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs.
5. Bhupendra Singh (IAS:1985:UP) has been appointed as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs vice Rabindra Pawar (IAS:1985:BH) on his appointment as OSD Ministry of Women and Child Development. He is presently Chairman, National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC), Cabinet Secretariat.
6. P.Venkata Ramesh Babu (IAS:1985:AP) has been appointed as Director General, National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture. Presently, he is CMD, Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd., Ministry of Power.
7. Yaduvendra Mathur (IAS:1986:RJ), Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog has been appointed as Special Secretary, NITI Aayog by temporarily upgrading the post.
8. Rajni Sekhri Sibal (IAS:1986:HY) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.
9. Rakesh Kumar Vats (IAS:1986:WB) has been appointed as Secretary General, Medical Council of India. Presently, he is Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
10. Nagendra Nath Sinha (IAS:1987:JH) has been appointed as Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Sanjeev Ranjan (IAS:1985:TR). Presently, he is MD, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and will continue to hold the additional charge of this post.
11. Dharmendra S. Gangwar (IAS:1988:BH) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Health and Family welfare vice Rakesh Kumar Vats (IAS:1986:WB) on his appointment as Secretary General, Medical Council of India. Presently, he is Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Culture.
