The Appointment Committee of Cabinet, on Thursday, has freshly ratified the appointments of 10 officers of different services in the rank of Additional Secretary which includes; 05 IAS officers, 03 IA&AS officers, 01 IFoS officer and 01 IRS-IT officer.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
1. Sanjay A. Chahande (IAS:1988:MH), Deputy Director General, Unique Identification Authority of India at Mumbai has been appointed as Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary against existing vacancy by temporarily upgrading the post.
2. Bharat Lal (IFoS:1988:GJ), Joint Secretary to the President, has been appointed as Additional Secretary to the President by temporarily upgrading the post.
3. Ravi Agrawal (IRS-IT:1988) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change against existing vacancy. Presently, he is Joint Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance.
4. Ms. Annie George Mathew (IA&AS:1988), Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure by temporarily upgrading the post.
5. Ms. Meenakshi Sharma (IA&AS:1988), Additional Director General (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism has been appointed as Director General (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
6. Ms. Meera Swarup (IA&AS:1988), Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Expenditure has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Expenditure by temporarily upgrading the post.
7. Sandeep Saxena (IAS:1989:TN), Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post.
8 Vijoy Kumar Singh (IAS:1990:PB) has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Textiles. Presently, he is Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training.
9. Anurag Agarwal (IAS:1990:PB) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Power by temporarily upgrading the vacant post of Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor. Presently, he is Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
10. Arun Baroka (IAS:1990:AGMUT), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitationas has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation by temporarily upgrading the post.
